What is Frog?

Frog is an animal that have a two bulging eyes, slimy skin and have strong, long and webbed hind feet that used for leaping and swimming. Frogs are the member of amphibians family. There are 3900 species of tailless amphibians in the world. Frog is belong in Anura order with Chrodata as the Phylum and in Salientia as the Clade.

'True frog' are known as Ranidae, which consists of more than 400 species all around the world. While 'true toad' are known as Bufonidae, which consists of more than 300 species. Toads are actually frogs. But what make toads different from frogs are toads have stubby bodies with short hind legs which are used for walking but not leaping, warty and dry skin, and have a paratoid or poison gland behind the eyes.
